pasta with corn, slow-cooked tomatoes, and garlic confit

i made this for a dinner with dana and john when my mom was in town. it was delicious thanks to the freshness of the ingredients - fresh corn, fresh tomatoes, homemade spaghetti. i will say roasted the tomatoes took forever, and that is the only step i would change by making some regular roasted tomatoes. overall it was a hit, no one can hate on fresh pasta.
