#151 blueberry, cardamom and ginger shrub
from The Guardian
A shrub, if you're like me and never heard of one, is a sweetened syrup used to make drinks. This one takes days to make, soaking the blueberries, cardamom and ginger together, and then it sits a couple more days with apple cider vinegar. When it's ready to go it's mixed with club soda and served over ice. The result is like a delicious, aromatic kombucha. It is 10x better than the stuff that comes in the bottle. I can't wait to try the peach shrub this summer!
