#265 char-grilled asparagus

this is the second of two extremely simple asparagus dishes from plenty. this one was better than the sum of its parts too! it’s all about using the fresh stuff. i grilled in a ridged pan with a cast iron press on top to really help get those grill marks. it’s then topped with thin slices of feta and lemon zest (the linked recipe calls for capers, this wasn’t in the original and i didn’t use). the thin slices make it feel more elegant than crumbled on top. definitely a nice and easy weeknight dish.
