#145 peas and carrots

"We was together again like peas and carrots." That's the Forest Gump line I think of every time I see the combo. And despite the fact that it's a pretty basic combination, this dish is sophisticated and delicious. The carrots are roasted with coriander seed, garlic, and a sauce made from red wine, orange juice, anise and cinnamon. Combined with peas and pea shoots, this kid-friendly dish was balanced and savory. I loved this one, it's another great Ottolenghi pick.
