red (and green) velvet sugar cookies
i’ve made a couple recipes in this blog, including the famous chocolate chip crinkle cookies, and everything has been completely delicious. these are no exception; chewy, soft and a hint of cocoa. the outside is coated in sugar for some extra crunch. i brought these to work as part of my holiday baking, and i didn’t hear a ton of feedback about them, but they definitely all got eaten.
