this is my third time making this fudge, so it’s obviously a solid recipe. it’s not like the vanilla fudge of my childhood, it’s got a more toasty flavor from brown sugar, but it is very delicious. i think this might be what they commonly eat in the uk. i brought it to work as part of my holiday baking, and it was a huge hit. people said it reminded them of blondies (or “texas blondes,” whatever that means)
