#204 shawarma cauliflower with green tahini

this is a great dish to have when you feel like you haven’t been getting enough veggies in. cauliflower is coated in spices, roasted with onion and red pepper, and then tossed in a sauce made with tomato paste, served with a herbed lemon tahini sauce and a simple slaw red cabbage slaw enhanced with mint, onion and lime juice. it was a good big work putting this dish together, and i would file this under “liked,” but not loved. it might have been on another level if it was served with some fresh pita, but unfortunately there was none around.
