#214 cheese and mint ka’ak with seedy mix

from otk: extra good things

i had nearly overlooked this delicious grilled cheese-inspired flatbread, but i hoarded a bunch of inexpensive halloumi from aldi, and i had to find something to do with it (thank you eat your books!). the recipe includes making the delicious sesame coated flatbread, and then stuffing it with a mix of shredded halloumi, mint and cream cheese. so good. then you dip it in a sauce made of olive oil, urfa pepper, honey and caraway seed. i left out the caraway, because i just don’t like it, but the sweet and rich concoction made this even better. the recipe makes six sandwiches so we had this three days in a row without any complaints.
