#199 wasabi peas with coriander furikake Jan 19 Written By Mary B from otk: extra good thingsthis was another winner from the new cookbook! so i didn’t used to like wasabi, but sometime in the past few years eating more quality sushi has made me love it. luckily, i had just found a really good brand of the tube stuff at my local japanese grocery. this recipe called for 1/3 cup of wasabi paste. i thought it was going to be way too much and i’d be crying with each bite, but it was actually the perfect amount to give a nice amount of burn and flavor. the wasabi dressing was balanced by maple syrup, lemon juice and oilve oil, then the dish was topped with a crunchy mix of toasted sesame, nori flake, crushed coriander seeds and flakey salt. if you love wasabi, you cannot go wrong with this one. ottolenghiOTK Extra Good Thingssnap peasjapanese Mary B
