blueberry lemonade snickerdoodles

i am somewhat obsessed with this style of sugar cookie where multiple flavors and colors of dough are rolled together so that they create abstract patterns worthy of a modern art gallery. for this one, i was going to make the original raspberry version but they didn’t have the freeze dried raspberries at tj’s. i added true lime powder because it was so out of this world when i tried it with the strawberry margarita cookies. the result was obviously fantastic, they really taste sour and sweet with buttery cookie, like a lemon bar. i will say, the blueberry flavor just did not come through. maybe it needs more powder? or i should use a less heavy hand with the citrus powder? i might circle back to that, but in the mean time, i have another idea for a variation i can’t wait to try for next week.
