#45 burnt spring onion dip with curly kale

from Nopi

this green onion dip was pretty dang delicious. The burnt flavor was subtle, but it was there. I thought it was notably different than other Ottolenghi recipes, because onion dip seems really American to me. Let me know, do y'all eat onion dip in europe? The recipe calls for quite a hefty amount of kale but it could down, so I ended up only making a small serving with my bunch. If you have made the broccoli with chili and garlic from The Cookbook, the kale is flavored just like that. Overall a very delicious recipe. Swipe for sizzles on the grill.
