#111 tomatoes with sumac onions and pine nuts

I know all the hype is with the new OTK cookbook, but those of us in the U.S. have to wait until November! In the meantime I made what I think will be the last fresh tomato dish of the season. I have officially gotten my fill of beautiful fresh tomatoes and am ready to move on to butternut squash, root veggies and sweet potatoes. This was a great one to go out on: it should come as no surprise that fresh basil and toasted pine nuts are a good combination, and sumac pickled onions are equally delicious on this tangy, refreshing salad.
