#110 charred tomatoes with cold yogurt

I finally got around to making this very popular cover dish from Simple. It was indeed a simple dish that was easy to throw together. I think I would make some tweaks to this recipe to suit my tastes: skip the cumin seed, add more brown sugar. I used vegan cashew yogurt, which I would not recommend. It didn't have the same creaminess and tang that the original offers.
