aldi crème bar chocolate chip cookies

aldi carries these individually wrapped milk chocolate bars filled with creme that are so delicious. i thought they would be tasty to jam into a chocolate chip cookie, and of course they turned out! i loved how the creme melted into little puddles on top of the cookies. i used what is becoming a bit of a go-to, the butter and brioche recipe, browned the butter, added the optional espresso powder, and used 100 g of the creme bars and 70 g of chopped milk chocolate. i brought these to national night out block party, and they were a hit. i made sure to leave any leftovers there because i would definitely have gobbled the rest up.
