bbq ranch salad

This salad is based off of one of those bagged grocery store salads, but I felt like I could do it better (and for cheaper). We used some small leaf lettuce as a base, and then frozen corn, shredded carrot, cilantro, tomato (for me only, obviously), avocado, freshly shredded cheddar, tortilla and chopped onion. The dressing is a simple mix of bottled ranch and barbecue sauce. I used about a 2:1 ratio of ranch to barbecue. We both loved this salad, and when made in a reasonable portion like this it was a bit indulgent but still felt nourishing and healthy.
