#74 grilled asparagus with romesco sauce and apple balsamic

Found some asparagus at the farmers market and I wanted to make something a little saucy with it. I've never had romanesco sauce before; it was a delicious blend of ancho chili, fresh red chili, sourdough bread, almonds, tomato and olive oil. When I tasted it, it was missing sweetness, but once it was mixed with the apple balsamic reduction it was perfectly balanced. Everything went with some asparagus that were blanched and then grilled on the stove. The dishes topped with a few crunchy almond slices. I imagine this combination would be delicious on many other green veggies.
