#120 cauliflower and cumin fritters with lime yogurt
from The Cookbook
How imperfect is this half eaten tray of fritters from my hannukah party? Ottolenghi has tons of flat pancake and fried fritter recipes that I've been saving for Hannukah, but I think these are the only ones I'm getting around to this year. The batter was super easy to make, boiled cauliflower with mashed into spices, flour and eggs, the hard part is having the patience to fry them. I found that the inside texture was really nice, but they did tend to get a bit burned on the edges. Loved the lime yogurt, the warm spices were good but don't beat the classic latkes for sure.
