from power vegetables (no online recipe)
i have my own go-to creamy caesar recipe, but i figured i’d try this one since i’ve been enjoying this cookbook so much. it is actually pretty similar to my recipe but has less garlic, adds oil to the mayo base, adds parmesan to the dressing itself, and doesn’t have worcestershire. i ended up adding the last thing because i just know it does good things for caesar, and it ended up great! i’m not sure if it would dethrone my established recipe, but i would recommend this one none the less.
and if you are wondering about my recipe (for garlic lovers only), it goes like this:
6 small crushed garlic cloves
1 teaspoon chopped anchovy
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup mayonnaise
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
