memphis baked beans

I wanted to make beans like the ones I had at Cozy Corner BBQ in Memphis, the best I’ve ever had. This recipe is a work in progress. I used a BBQ sauce recipe from Serious Eats that was spot on, but I actually don’t think I should have baked them at all, I wanted them saucier. Will try again with the same sauce but maybe no baking.
