#291 roasted figs with pomegranate molasses and orange zest

from plenty more

this was such a delicious use of fresh figs! they are coated in a sticky sauce of pomegrante molasses, lemon juice and muscavado sugar that was so good that i licked it all from the plate. they are broiled until the sauce gets caramelized and served with a mix of mascarpone and yogurt that is sweetened just a little, and then topped with orange zest. i loved this dish, i could see myself pouring pomegrante molasses caramel over just about anything.
