#95 seriously zesty bread salad

from The Guardian

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is Ottolenghi's first published recipe ever. The date is Friday, the 29th of September 2006. I found it while perusing through The Guardian's archives, and had it on my list as a perfect summer tomato dish. It's really similar to the quinoa tomato salad I made a couple weeks ago from Plenty. The cool thing about my version is that almost everything came from the Farmers market: amazing heirloom tomatoes, fresh cucumbers, super sweet red bell pepper, cute little red onions. Sourdough bread came from a bakery down the street, and cilantro from my garden. It's dressed with a simple combination of garlic, red wine vinegar, olive oil, sumac lemon juice and lemon zest. This dish is very simple, but with good ingredients it's excellent. Have you tried this OG recipe?
