#78 tagliatelle with walnuts and lemon

from Plenty More

It was a feat that I was able to pull off homemade pasta on this Thursday, because I was on call and didn't get home until 8:30 p.m. Here's the secret, I made the pasta the night before, and then demanded that J make the recipe. You've probably seen this recipe close to a billion times, and I would bet that other people even made it tonight as well. I think this recipe resonates because it is easy, flavorful and a little different than a typical alfredo. I loved the toasty flavor of the walnuts, along with some shavings of parmigiano-reggiano, it was the perfect thing to help me decompress on this first day of my third year of residency.
