#138 fettuccine with spiced cherry tomato sauce

This is another beautiful pasta dish made by J (though again I did make the fresh pasta). This is a simple dish of fresh tomato sauce enhanced with ancho chile and fresh basil, topped with a healthy amount of parmesan cheese. This would be perfect to make in the summer with local tomatoes, but I find that cherry tomatoes can still be decent in the winter. I throughly enjoyed this dish because everything was fresh, but it's definitely not the most original of Ottolenghi recipes.
