this was another tasty dish to highlight summer tomatoes. it is so similar to this one, that i was surprised they were in the same cookbook. regardless, cooking the tomatoes made it something completely different, and they were so good with some sourdough bread to soak up the juices. even j, the raw tomato hater, liked this because it was cooked enough for him.
